Cupro Nickel 90/10 Fasteners are a perfect combination of copper and nickel, with the addition of Manganese and other ferrous elements such as iron to combat seawater corrosion. Cupro Nickel 90/10 Bolts are highly available in environments that contain chloride or other halogens, such as marine environments. They have good oxidation resistance upto 1600 degrees Fahrenheit and continue services upto 1700 degrees Fahrenheit. Cupro Nickel 90/10 also has a high carbon content that restricts carbide precipitation during welding and applications requiring high corrosion resistance. Compared to other alloys, UNS C70600 90/10 Bolt also has better creep deformation characteristics and mechanical resistance to high temperatures. At elevated temperatures, these have high creep, stress to rupture, and tensile strength. They are used in chemical tankers, paper equipment, and other applications. Due to its high corrosion resistance property, it is widely used in the industry. It meets the metallic properties of the straight grade while maintaining a low carbon content due to the controlled addition of nitrogen. These DIN 2.0872 90/10 Head Bolts are designed according to the national and international raw material quality standards and guidelines.
The high oxidation rate of Cupro Nickel is 90/10 is evident in steam and moist air. The addition of chromium, niobium, iron, or Manganese to the CU Ni 90/10 Coated bolt increases its corrosion resistance and strength. These are naturally resistant to biofouling as well as they have excellent fabricability. They even have thermal stability even at high temperatures.
