The chemical composition of chromium 17%, manganese 2%, nitrogen 0.10%, phosphorus 0.045%, carbon 0.8-0.10%, silicon 0.75%, and nickel up to 12% have balanced the steel nature at the cryogenic temperatures. The mechanical properties of Alloy 20 hex nuts are quite similar and familiar as tensile strength 515 Mpa, yield strength 205 Mpa, and also acquired Rockwell b hardness. ALLOY 20cb3 nuts have service utilization in the temperature from 1000 to 1600 Degree F. ALLOY 20 grade is titanium stabilized quality that counters carbide precipitation that may occur during welding, due to the excellent titanium balance, ALLOY 20 nuts also effectively resist high-temperature environments. Alloy steel nuts are often applicable in heat-treating components, heat exchangers, chemical processing, mineral processing, pipe, valves, etc.
