CUPRO NICKEL 70/30 FASTENERS consist of copper and nickel as their base elements. Iron, magnesium, zinc, silicon, carbon, titanium, and chromium are also present in its alloy. As the basic materials are copper and nickel, the fasteners made from this alloy have excellent corrosion resistance. These are primarily used in marine and offshore environments where the chances of corrosion are high. As the salt and alkaline medium present in these environments could lead to oxidation. CUPRO NICKEL 70/30 FASTENERS have very great strength and can be easily fabricated. Various tests such as modulus of elasticity, checking the tensile strength, matching the density, etc., are carried out to check their durability. As they are also resistant to thermal environments, they can withstand high temperatures and are good conductors of heat. The amount of magnesium present in 70/30 CuNi Fasteners also provides excellent electrical properties. However, they are poor conductors of electricity as compared to the other alloys. Due to the amount of nickel present, it has more excellent mechanical properties, which also works the best at high temperatures.
These fasteners can be produced in different shapes, sizes, and diameters based on the user specifications. They also can withstand additional alkaline and chemical environments. Also, the several testing performed on them makes them of the best quality compared to the other fasteners.
