STAINLESS STEEL 904L FASTENERS

STAINLESS STEEL 904L FASTENERS is the one which is stabilized austenitic stainless steel where the letter L stands for the low content of carbon present in it. These fasteners have an amount of carbon which is maximum upto 0.02%. Since it has a lower carbon content, it is highly resistant to corrosion and makes these fasteners more durable. It has a considerable amount of copper, which makes the alloy strong enough to stand in various chemically bound environments. STAINLESS STEEL 904L FASTENERS are robust and tensile and are also weldable. They are also nonmagnetic because they can be utilized in an extensive range of applications where the nonmagnetic nature of fasteners is preferred. They can stand temperatures of about 400 degrees celsius. The products made from this alloy also undergo high heating and then a rapid cooling process. As these fasteners contain a considerably maximum amount of molybdenum and nickel, they are highly resistant to corrosion pitting and cracking. They are also available in different shapes and sizes depending upon the user specifications and requirements.

Due to its property of being anti-corrosion resistant, it is used in applications where such property is required. SS 904L Grade FASTENERS are also used in environments where the atmospheric pressure is not very favorable. These also go through many tests on them so that they could be available in the best quality.
